ABOUT MOHAMMED BIN RASHID CITY

Mohammed Bin Rashid City is an ambitious project that envisions a ‘city within a city’ inside Dubai. It is a joint venture by Meydan Group and Sobha Group.  

MBR Dubai is named after the current ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. It is an off plan project with the estimated cost of the project being around AED 30 billion and is scheduled to be completed in 2020.

This mega-development will focus on four major components, art, environment for sustainability, entrepreneurship, and retail & theme parks.

In collaboration with Hollywood’s legendary Universal Studios, the park will feature one of the largest entertainment facilities in the world. The park is big enough to receive 35 million visitors annually, including 100 hotels facility to accommodate the visitors of the region.

Mohammed bin Rashid City will also have the largest Mall in the world named as the “Mall of the World”. One of the more notable development of the project is the world’s biggest swimming pool.

The location of this new city will be between Al Khail Road, Emirates Road, and Sheikh Zayed Road and will also include the outstanding Mohammed bin Rashid Garden project.

Mohammed Bin Rashid City will host an array of multiple art galleries generating the major area for art in the region and the Cultural Crossing will connect it to Business Bay and Downtown Dubai.

The sub-development of MBR Dubai will be the residential development (District One) which will host a golf course, 7km of spectacular crystal lagoons, tennis academy and 600 acres of open spaces.
