Dubai South is set to have mega malls, with Ibn Battuta and The Outlet Village a mere 25 and 22 minutes away respectively. Additionally, Dubai Marina Mall, Mall of the Emirates, and the renowned Dubai Mall are all within a 40-minute drive.

Food lovers can rejoice as there are a plethora of international restaurants and fast-food chains in the area. Olives Restaurant and McDonald’s are two of the most popular, however, those looking for something a bit more unique can try Skini Panini, Coffee Pushin, and Golos Italia Restaurant in the Logistics District. Plus, Riverland Dubai, part of Dubai Parks and Resorts, is 20 minutes away with a variety of casual dining restaurants, including Super Chix, Olive Garden, TGI Fridays, and The Coffee Club.

Beach-goers are also in luck with Jebel Ali and JBR beaches both accessible within a half hour. Further away, Banan Beach in RAK is an hour and a half away and has the added bonus of camping, chalets, yoga, campfires, water sports, and more.

 

SCHOOLS AND EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN AND AROUND DUBAI SOUTH

 

At the moment, there are several educational centers located close to Dubai South in Dubai Investments Park. Among them is the Dove Green Private School, which follows the British curriculum; the Greenfield Community School, which provides an American program; Bright Riders School which has an Indian system; and British Columbia Canadian School which offers a Canadian program. When the residential project is finished, the number of schools and other education establishments will expand.

Al Maktoum International Airport is in the same area and there is Emirates Aviation Services LLC situated near the airport which serves as a learning and training center of civil aviation. Those wanting to pursue higher education have two hubs to choose from, both 30 minutes away from Dubai South – Dubai International Academic City and Dubai Knowledge Park.

People who wish to own a 1-bedroom apartment in Dubai South can find some good deals, as the price starts at AED 340k. Those wanting to get bigger accommodation can opt for a 2-bedroom flat.

According to the Dubai Off-Plan Property Market Report 2022, Dubai South is a very popular area when it comes to villas and townhouses. There are cheap villa options ranging from 2 to 5 bedrooms with well-designed interiors and exteriors. Dubai South is a hub for buying and leasing properties, especially in the EMAAR South area. This area boasts a variety of housing options, including apartments, villas, and an 18-hole golf course. Many off-plan projects are available, such as Greenview 2, Expo Golf Villas 5, and Parkside 3. Other popular communities include The Pulse Beachfront and Parklane Townhouses.

The area is conveniently close to Dubai Parks and Resorts, which comprises four distinct theme parks.
